Owner and Chef, Andria Canella has spent her entire adult life in a kitchen in some form or fashion. (She actually started in her teens doing prep for a small family owned Italian pizza joint!) From being a line cook, to managing a staff, she has literally done it all.
Born and raised in South Florida, she and her wife made a move to Savannah in 2012. They quickly fell in the love with the charm of the city and decided they would call it home forever.
Fast forward to 2020, when Andria lost her Grandma Pat and finally found her true love in baking. She knew her calling was to be covered in flour instead of the hustle and bustle of the line.
Andria developed and ran the pastry and dessert program for one of the most popular restaurant groups in downtown Savannah for several years. After finding her confidence and enjoying the creative nature of this side of the restaurant industry, AND her 40th birthday rolling around she decided it was time to take the leap and open her very own spot. Named in honor of her Grandma, Sweet Patricia's.
